Welcome to The Retreat

The prestigious Gulf Coast real estate within the gates of The Retreat exudes a serenity highlighted by the West Indies-inspired architecture and a secluded location. The Retreat is a luxury sanctuary on a nature preserve filled with pines, oaks, and palmettos. Enriched by private amenities for owners and guests, The Retreat’s 90 pristine acres accommodate only 90 home sites.

A limited number of home sites feature Gulffront or lakefront amenities. Seven of the lake-front home sites allow docks. The Retreat offers stunning views of turquoise waters, sparkling sand dunes, and the peaceful lake.

The Beach Club at The Retreat sits on a 3000-foot stretch of private beach. It is located at the end of Retreat Drive. The Club features a serene infinity edge pool with a fountain, hot, private restrooms and locker storage, beach access, and shaded dining areas. On the Draper Lake side is a canoe launch with a picnic pavilion and play fort for children. The Beach Club is available for private functions. A 1000-foot area of the beach is permanently protected from development and available for the use of all owners and guests. There are three beach access points in the community.

Draper Lake is unique in its appeal. Hiking and biking, fishing and canoeing, and exploring the surrounding sand dunes are all favorite pastimes.
